Rotary Club Services

The Rotary Club’s mission is to work together in four avenues of service.  Our goal is to enhance the quality of life and human dignity, encourage high ethical standards, and create better understanding among all people through . . .

 Community Service, such as

Track Meet for middle school students - an annual event since 1923, this is the longest running service project of its kind in New Jersey.

Annual Wine Tasting Dinner to raise scholarship $$

Support for the Adult Literacy Program at the Plainfield Public Library.

Community service activities to help instill community pride in the environment.

Vocational Service, such as

College Scholarships – annually award financial aid to graduating seniors of Plainfield and North Plainfield high schools

If you would like to donate to our scholarship fund please send a check payable to Rotarypnp and mail it to or join us for lunch at Giovanna's Restaurant, 1462 South Avenue Plainfield, N.J.

Youth Clubs – sponsor youth service clubs in both communities.

International Service, such as

Support Rotary Foundation and its efforts to eradicate poliomyelitis worldwide.

Contribute to Rotary International’s worldwide  initiatives, such as cleft palate/cleft lip surgeries; avoidable blindness; solar oven projects; & others.

Collect used bicycles for the Pedals for Progress program, shipping them to developing countries.

Club Service, such as

Each member supports the other through fellowship and achieving common goals of service.

Provide a weekly luncheon meeting as respite from the pressures of business.
